Careful planning facilitates any kind of work. We help facilitate informational resources for grassroots nonprofit organizations that envision an engaged community of empowered and aware individuals enjoying sustainable living through both community interdependence and self-reliance. Dedicated to sustainable resource use and community vitality, we promote sustainable agriculture, natural medicine alternatives, renewable energy and conservation, environmental quality, and community self-reliance. We want to give people an opportunity to keep up a correspondence discussing  some of the most critical problems facing us and to stimulate people's best thinking on questions of  developing new ideas and new approaches to the difficult but vital task of creative social and economic change.

We will do this through a Grassroots Think Tank & Network that will sponsor intensive sessions on the problems we face and on issues and strategies that offer the potential for organizing and movement building. These sessions will bring together grassroots organizations, along with progressive academics in a mix that can present a variety of perspectives on the topics discussed. Peers often do most of the work. Expensive consultants and materials often aren't needed. Thus, the learning can be quite cost-effective, especially when designed to complement other traditional forms of services. This can be very valuable to organizations with very limited resources, such as nonprofit organizations.Virtual teams will build a corresponding database from information developed during these discussions.

The questions that have been brought to us and those we have discerned focus on two primary areas:

• How can we build and sustain a movement? This includes such things as how to do "green" building construction, organic gardening, composting, native plant landscaping, energy-efficient features for the home, use of salvaged materials, solar panel installations, cross-race organizing, how to connect local struggles to international ones, how to transition from Civil Rights and baby-boomer leadership to younger leadership, how to expand from a black/white racial analysis to a multi-racial analysis, and how to add organizing to service delivery organizations.  To assist proactive people in achieving their sustainable community vision through creating and cultivating mutually beneficial partnerships with neighborhood businesses, churches, schools, organizations, and residents. We seek to train educators in a replicating non profit network which will educate people about why most American neighborhoods are socially isolating and culturally inactive, and how we can transform them from the grassroots, How to inspire people to both understand themselves as part of a larger community and fulfill their own creative potential, and activate people to be part of the communities around them, as well as part of the decision-making that shapes the future of their communities.
  Meaningful Work :
  Meaningful work is vital to long-term success. It takes many forms, from the gentle introduction to the necessity of daily chores in a residence, to the responsibility of managing a business in the local community. Daily teamwork helps to build job skills, diligence, punctuality, dependability, self-esteem and respect for supervisors. Students are orientated to workshops or businesses, namely: Program consulting / Project management / Public relations / Troop/group leadership / Campus tutoring / Community or council task group and committees / Recruitment activities / Fund development / Clerical work / Research and analysis projects / Camping or other outdoor events / Mentoring programs / /Multimedia Development /Garden Maintenance and Landscaping /Charity Shop Retail Sales
   
• What issues offer common ground for organizing across race and gender? These include state repression, which targets youth, Latinos, African Americans, and Asian Americans among others; low-wage workplaces such as food production or the tourist and service industries that primarily employ youth, African Americans, and immigrants; criminalization and imprisonment; and right-wing organizing in our communities. How do we inspire citizen activists who want a more community-oriented and ecologically sustainable society.   Networking Teams:
  Students build meaningful relationships, inspiring hope and self-esteem, in an atmosphere of acceptance and love. As members working together, Students focus on achieving and sustaining change in three main areas of life: Physically: by maintaining abstinence from harmful, substances and recovering the good health habits of a proper diet and exercise. Emotionally: by practicing self-control and co-operation, recovering a healthy self-image as a positive contributor to work teams, group recreation, and a caring group. Mentally: by acquiring a system of values which help to sustain the cumulative benefits of the change individuals achieve, successfully overcoming lack of motivation and despair for good. There’s Hope and Abundant Life Available For Everyone

The ideas and strategies which foster sustainable living practices developed by these meetings will be documented and widely disseminated is several media formats and across the world wide web. We are non- fee-charging. Instead, we aim to be as self-supporting and sustainable as possible. Please note that On-line school fees from accredited colleges and universities for their courses are charged by the on-line school and these schools can also provide you with financial aid support. An additional source of private funding is the donations we receive from individuals and collaborating churches, companies and other charities.
